Mika J. Nakano is a Baltimore-based multi-disciplinary artist teacher. She is interested in stories told from different parts of the world, and how people have made sense of nature and the supernatural. Her favorite insect is the cicada and she loves indoor gardening.
Asian Pasifika Arts Collective (APAC) is a nonprofit organization that uses art to advocate representation of Asian Americans and Pacific Indigenous Americans in everyday life while building cross-community relationships.
