Artist: Kiyohiro Nishio
Kiyohiro Nishio is a second-generation Japanese-American illustrator and researcher. They are an alumnus of the Maryland Institute College of Art where they majored in Illustration and minored in Culture and Politics. Kiyohiro was born in Maryland and currently resides in Baltimore. They are very interested in reclaiming the diversity of Japanese mythology and are exploring this subject in both their illustrations and academic research. Kiyohiro most commonly illustrates in gouache paint or digital software.
