About AAPI Voices
AAPI Voices is a storytelling series that celebrates Asian and Pacific Indigenous identity, history and heritage. Through AAPI Voices, we aim to create a safe and uplifting environment to process cultural moments in real time while growing as a community and as individuals. This program invites as many people as possible to join the conversation, no matter their level of comfort with public speaking, storytelling or performance. Events range from public performances to more casual and intimate gatherings open to community participation. Each year we select a theme that welcomes deeper cultural exploration and/or reflects current events. Previous examples include “This is How We Party!”, “All American Asians”, “Crossing Borders,” and “Redefining Our Self.”
For 2024, APAC has selected the theme “Our Aspirations.” Don’t miss our visual arts event at Atrium Artspace this November 8th - 10th in Baltimore, MD.
