“I want us to find one another through this organization.”
Co-executive Director Cori Dioquino shares why BAPAC is important to her.
“Here I was with an Asian 10-year-old in Baltimore, Maryland who wanted to be an actor. I had to be careful not to exploit Nico’s ethnicity, but hoped to find positive opportunities for him. By chance, I found the Baltimore Asian Pasifika Arts Collective (BAPAC), an amazing community of talented Baltimore artists, each member embracing their identities while pursuing their artistic passions […] Nico’s interest in the Arts had left me longing to find him a like-minded community. I cannot tell you how happy and proud I am that we have met and become friends with the members of BAPAC.”
Asian Pasifika Arts Collective (APAC) is a nonprofit organization that uses art to advocate representation of Asian Americans and Pacific Indigenous Americans in everyday life while building cross-community relationships.
APAC is a fiscally sponsored program of Fusion Partnerships, Inc.
