AAPI Voices: How we Party!
WHEN: SATURDAY, MARCH 30, 2019
WHERE: THE MOTOR HOUSE - 120 W. NORTH AVENUE, BALTIMORE
The Baltimore Asian Pasifika Arts Collective is excited to announce the first event of our inaugural season. Join us at the Motor House in Baltimore’s Station North for an evening of food, drink and laughter as we kick off 2019 with a new storytelling series called AAPI Voices.
AAPI Voices: How We Party! honors the ways in which the Asian American and Pacific Indigenous communities celebrate important occasions with loved ones through entertaining, and perhaps mildly embarrassing, stories from various artists’ accounts of their own life experiences. This March, AAPI Voices will be featured as part of the first ever Asian North Arts Festival.
Short story/storytelling monologues on the theme and topic “How We Party!” Story length: 5 - 7 minutes maximum.
